CUSTOMER REVIEWS OF THE LG 22" 22LV2500 720p 60 Hz LED-LCD HDTV
"Excellent TV" | |
By flyingfinn | Pros: Picture Quality Picture quality is great. Sound is good. Could have extended EPG but not that important. |
"packed with features"
By tr6canuck | Pros: features, speakers, usb capabilities I bought this for a small spare bedroom. It is too small for a master bedroom. I originally bought a 22" Philips and took it back because the speakers were horrible, and it had less features (like no controls on tv itself) than this LG. The TV itself has controls that are pressure sensitive and part of the frame vs separate buttons which is easy to clean and a gives a modern look. 3 HDMI outlets(most small TV's have 2). The speakers sound great. The remote has great range and works even when you point it away from the TV. The best surprise was that you can plug in an external hard drive or flash drive via the USB and listen to music, view photos, and watch videos(movies). The remote has play/pause/ff/rw/stop buttons. Most HDTV USB outlets only allow you to listen to music and watch photos. This way you don't need to attach a DVD player. The one negative thing I found so far is the eco brightness feature. In the daytime the screen is fine, but at night I find it to dark and have to adjust it. The power cord is a 2 piece similar to a laptop cord with a brick inverter. No idea why they use this type of cord as the Philips had a regular cord. This seems to be another added bonus for if you move overseas you can take it with you. It is pricier than other 22" TV's, but the added features make up for it. I love this LG so much I also bought the 26" version for my master bedroom. |
"Great tv" | |
By anlamp1 | Big fan of my 22 LG tv. We have it in our bedroom. Great picture, great sound, perfect size. Never owned an LG before this one...but I would consider owning a larger in the future. |
"Great for the kids" | |
By colleen | the kids love this for their video games. Is is big enough for gaming and small enough to not overwhelm the space. Great picture and pretty durable {w/ 4 kids it's a miracle it's still working}. great product! |
"An Unexpected Find" | |
By mkp0 | Pros: Value and features of the product I have never written a review for a product online but because this tv is exceptional I thought I should share my thoughts. Better than I ever expected! I read some reviews online saying the sound is the poor qaulity about this tv, but how could it be? This tv has all the features.. "smart" sound which makes this little machine sound incredible.. the picture is unbelievably crisp and bright, you can make it even better with the "smart" picture settings.. and energy star qaulified (Im an energy saver geek) with settings that come along with that too! The tv will actually turn down the brightness when you turn down your lights, and become brighter when you turn your lights on. Of course you can decide if you want this "auto" setting to be on or off as well. I was debating between this tv, a 22" samsung, and a 22" vizio for a while and in the end I went with the LG bc of a gut feeling with the company (I buy LG cell phones and I am always impressed with their products compared to other brands). For the little extra money this tv is WELL WORTH it. P.s. because I researched for this purchase, the online tech blogs were right - the fact that this tv is 720p instead of 1080 p does not matter bc of its size, no difference! Could not be happer. |
"good display bad sound"
By rwiley | Pros: Features/Settings I brought this tv to replace the old tv in the backroom. The settings to help pick the best image quailty is very good, but when i turn up the volume over fifty the sound quailty drops. |
"Half and half" | |
By DuneAlia | Pros: Performance, Features/Settings, Quality Unable to log into the internet but it seems everyone who gets one that internet connectable has to contact someone and they can't understand it either. Other than that the sound and picture quality are fantastic. I wish the HDMI, Headphones, and USB outlets weren't on the side as they are hard to access like that. TV does heat up use but doesn't mess with the quality so far. I also wish the speakers were on the front but it still works good. You can be parallel to the side of the TV and still see the picture perfectly, never seen that before. |
