By ali12	Pros: everything I decided I wanted a good 3d smart tv but didn't want the heavy active glasses. This TV fits the bill but the added bonus it the clear, great 2d quality!!! The apps are also awesome, where I am finding updates are constant. The price is much better than Sony, who only has the active glasses and actually a better quality of color and depth!!!

By ThingOne	Pros: Passive 3D doesn't flicker and glasses are cheap. I wanted a 3D TV to replace my 8 year-old Mitsubishi 65 inch rear projection set. After viewing several 3D sets side by side, we decided on passive 3D technology. LG was the only vendor with a 65 inch model. The TV came in a really big box, but was easy to attach the stand and set up. The picture was perfect out of the box (I haven't calibrated it yet with my colorimeter). Both 2D and 3D images were great, with a bright 3D image that could be viewed at wide angles. The 2D to 3D conversion works well, but is not as good as full 3D from blu-ray or other sources. Sharpness, contrast, and brightness are outstanding. The screen is glossy and reflects lights, so you will have to be careful with any lighting in front of the TV or behind the viewer. The "on" light was a little annoying, so I went into setup and turned it off. I would highly recommend this model to anyone wanting a large 3D capable TV.
