| "Wow. What a bang for the buck" |

I've used every feature I can think of and I'm still really enjoying this beauty. I had two big screen TVs and my wife gave me the excuse (said she liked my dad's 3D TV) to do some research. I scanned all over the internet for a week reading reviews and such. Everything pointed me to this TV. I am VERY pleased with the picture, 3D, 2D to 3D conversion on the fly, and menus. I pump video from my laptop and can watch 3D video and the picture is stunning. Same with the PS3. The 3D depth is great and I get no eye strain which is surprising because I was warned that this could trigger my migraines. I honestly think the only thing it is missing is the "Smart media" which I already get from two other sources so I wasn't concerned. The picture quality is so good, it is almost too good. I watched Starwars on Blue-ray and it was so clear, I could see flaws that I normally would miss. The picture is very bright and I tend to use the intelligent sensor so that it dims down in the evening. Compared to my dad's Active 3D, this thing smokes the doors off of it. What am I really trying to say? This TV is incredible. P.S. I am home installer for audio/video equipment and a computer consultant so I don't say these things lightly. |

| By MarkBond20 | Pros: Worth the price we paid (on sale days before Black Friday 2011) We waited for *YEARS* to purchase our first enormous flat-screen television. We saved our money, waited for the holiday deals, saw this bundle in the newspaper ad, and bought the last one in the store. The LED colors are bright and sharp. We didn't bother to wall-mount it, as the television stand works just fine. Set-up and installation was extremely easy and quick. We had our own surround-sound stereo system already, so no need to use the TV's speakers. The 3D is breathtaking. While it has a function to convert 2-D to 3-D, sometimes it works better than others (surprisingly, it works best on black-and-white movies... Casablanca in 3D is awesome!). But the Blu-Ray 3D movies are supreme. Your eyes never strain. The image is crisp, sharp, and the 3D depth is pronounced. We have watched Captain America, Green Lantern, and Green Hornet -- it makes each movie better. The "passive" non-electronic 3D glasses you get from the movie theater work perfect with the TV. The television itself does not have internet, but the 3D-Blu Ray Player does have a connection. Some blu-ray discs have online special features (very, very slow in loading). We haven't gotten Netflix yet, but we will. (We are not gamers, by the way, so we don't have an XBOX or Playstation. We were told when buying the television that it doesn't work for video games well, especially in the 3D conversion.) |

The clarity of the picture is so crystal clear, we feel like we are watching movies for the first time. The set-up was quick & easy. The passive 3D is fun also. My wife is not one to get excited by electronics as I am, but even she can't help but be impressed by the picture on this thing. As far as sound quality, not worried about that aspect. It is hooked -up to our surround sound system. Don't need it to be a smart t.v. either, we have Xbox360 & PS3 hooked-up as well, they can stream anything we need. This t.v. is well worth the price, if you can find it anywhere. |

And it's not like I haven't experienced 3D before, because my old TV was a Samsung 3D TV. It was good, but this one blows it out the water. The trumotion feature is incredible and then to throw in 3D on top of that made me drool. I kept watching movie after movie after movie. And when I actually started to play a 3D game on it I was even more amazed. It came with 4 3D glasses that don't even need batteries and a LG 3D blu-ray player, then I remembered that I only paid $1299.99 for it and almost fainted. Anyone wanting 3D entertainment at an affordable price will love this. |

| By panthersfan1 | Pros: Great price point for such an amazing picture Was doing research to find a low cost 3DTV that still packed a punch. I had relatives who owned LG TVs and, while they are not filled with features, the picture quality was always excellent. Picture quality is superb...on bluray and HDTV. I find the 3D to be very slightly blurry. VERY slightly, however I notice. It doesn't matter if I'm watching a 3D broadcast from my cable TV provider or a 3D bluray on PS3. I have not witnessed 3D TVs who use active shutter 3D glasses so I can't speak to whether this is just a byproduct of 3D TV in general. It still looks great and the 3D effects are fantastic. However, the ever-so-slight blurriness shows. Also, I would advise not to use the "TruMotion" feature that the TV has. It does make things unbelievable smooth...however, the TV often stutters to keep the motion fluid. It's as if the TVs processor isn't fast enough to utilize this feature well. I have updated the firmware but it had no impact on this. Sound quality from the TVs speakers are not very good. I have a surround sound system so this is a non-issue for me. I wish it had more HDMI inputs but this was something I knew before buying so I can't fault the product for that. My largest issue with this TV is the fact that the HDMI inputs do not work well with PCs. There is very bad input lag when using a PC through the HDMI. Most TVs allow you set the TV up for "game mode" or "PC mode" so that the TV turns off all of its picture features to lower the input lag. This TV does not include this feature. There is a "game mode" for the picture settings but it does NOT reduce the input lag. I have updated to the latest firmware and the problem still exists. I am currently using the TVs RGB/VGA input and the input lag is minimal-to-nonexistant. However, this eliminates the possibility of me using the TV to play 3D PC games. This is my biggest issue with the set. If it weren't for this, the package would easily get 5 out of 5 stars from me. I can't comment on the bluray player that came with the TV as I haven't had a need for it yet (I use a PS3 for bluray movies). |
